Costs of Registering a Company / Business in Uganda

Man signing company registration form

These are the updated URSB fees for registering a company in Uganda in 2024. The same structure contains the business, civil, intellectual property and insolvency registration form fees that must be paid in any of the approved bank of choice in order for your application to be accepted and approved.

When I was starting up my company in early January, I looked at the fees structure and proceeded with everything the way I had set it. This allowed me understand how much I was supposed to pay at the different levels and I am happy it worked which is why I am sharing with you this.

Remember, it all begins by visiting the Uganda registration services bureau website https://ursb.go.ug/ in order to get started. Everything has been made possible online where manual paperwork processing is limited to only a few of selected tasks.
