How to apply for income tax and VAT Withholding Exemption online

You can apply for income tax and VAT withholding exemption online by following the simple instructions below.

1. Visit https://www.ura.go.ug/
2. Log into your TIN using your password
3. Click eServices
4. Click Other under eRegistration
5. Select Withholding tax exemption application
6. Choose your choice of options eg First time
7. Enter your TIN Number
8. Select the Tax Type
9. Add reason for exemption
10. Click next
11. Tick declaration box
12. Click Accept and Submit
13. Click OK
