Instructions to Log In to the URA Website

• Visit the “https://ura.go.ug/” link
• Click on the “Log in” link on the top right corner
• Click on the “Portal” from the drop down list
• Type in your “TIN number and Password” under Log In page
• Type the “Text verification digits” to confirm you are Human
• Click on the “Log In” button to proceed

You will successfully log in upon providing the correct account details. In case the credentials are wrong or you can’t remember them, you can use the Forgot Password link below the same page to reset the TIN password. You will be required to provide the TIN and its associated email address.

Instructions to Capture Motor vehicle transfer application forms

• Visit the “https://ura.go.ug/” link
• Log in to your “TIN” using the above procedure
• Point your Computer mouse to “Motor Vehicle”
• Click on “Motor Vehicle Application”
• Select “New Form” under Form Type
• Select “Change of Ownership” under Purpose of Application
• Type in the “Motor Vehicle Number”

Proceed by filling in all required information until you reach submission page. Submit your application and proceed to print, pay in the bank, attach everything and submit to Ministry of Works motor vehicle registration office to Nakawa URA building.
